Introduction and Objectives WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR? This course is for anyone who teaches, preaches, proclaims, shares, distributes, or evangelizes the gospel of Jesus Christ. This includes:
In short, this course is for anyone who attempts to speak few or many words for God, either in a formal or an informal setting.
WARNING!!“Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many ways…” (James 3:1, 2) QUESTIONS
Perhaps God’s judgment of those who teach will be a little like what happened to the priest mentioned in Luke 1, Zacharias. He did not believe God’s word, even when the angel of the Lord, Gabriel, announced it to him. He asked for further proof, a sign. Therefore, he was penalized for several months, having no ability to speak, since he, a teacher, did not believe what God had spoken. Perhaps it will be like it says in Matthew 7:21-23, where those who prophesied (taught God’s words), and some even having done miracles in Jesus’ name, would be strictly judged. They would be thrown into the lake of fire because they have deviated from the word of God in some way, being disobedient in some way. God will strictly judge those who teach, express, comment on, and lead others in the word of God. Therefore, the subject of teaching should not be thought of lightly by anyone who attempts to impart the word and will of God to others. Instead, the subject of teaching the word of Jesus Christ should be held in all seriousness and in the highest strictness. Table of Contents
